At Webb Investment services we have been having so much fun! Here are some of the highlights from the first quarter and first part of the second quarter of 2019.
Dancing with the Local Stars:
On February 24th Laura danced in the Dancing with the Local Stars competition to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. She danced with partner Rick Harris and did an amazing version of the Salsa. We were excited to cheer Laura on and watch her bust a move on stage, all while surpassing her goal of raising $10,000 (she was able to rise $12,586.07) for the American Cancer Society, Way to Go Laura!!!!

WomanUp
Back on March 28th Laura and Faith attended Woman Up Workshop on the Conquerors: Business Women Reaching for Success. It was a very inspiring and wonderful event featuring some amazing women speaking on their successes and failures in business and prevailing. WomanUp is such a great series put on by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. To Find out more check out their website:
Women United
Webb Investment Services is proud to sponsor Women United, an affinity group with the United Way, focusing on Women raising money for women and children. Laura and Faith were excited to host a lunch and learn on April 24th on the topic of Doing Well While Doing Good, focusing on first doing well so that you are able to do good, and how to invest with your values.

Our Turn to Play
Webb Investment Services was proud to host a table of movers and shakers at the Our Turn to Play luncheon at UNCA on May 1st. This luncheon aims to raise money for the Women’s Athletic Scholarship at UNCA, they were able to raise over $105,000 in donations this year!!! Such a great cause, great message and great luncheon.
