With Enhanced Authentication, you can add an extra layer of protection when logging in to Client Access. This free service uses a one-time text message code or voice call to replace the challenge question you are usually prompted to answer when you log in to your account. To confirm your identity and log in, simply enter the code you receive in the field provided.
If you only want to use Enhanced Authentication when logging in from a new device, you can choose to have Client Access remember your new machine, so you won’t be prompted to enter a code at every login.
Enhanced Authentication is one of the best ways to keep your login safe. To register, log in to Client Access, then visit the Account Services tab and select Password & Security. From there, enable Enhanced Authentication, where you’ll be prompted to select from a list of your phone numbers on file. If you select a mobile number, you can choose to receive a text or voice code.
